Have you always dreamed of having a dinner party that wows your guests and leaves them begging you to have another one? Now you can with a little help! 'Dream Dinner' is a concept that we have exclusively designed at The Butler’s Pantry. The concept is quite simple;

Our Executive Head Chef, Niall Hill, will meet with you, design and execute a 'Dream Dinner' menu for you and your guests in your own home. As such all menus created are bespoke to each client and customised with the seasons in mind. At The Butler’s Pantry, it is central to our food philosophy to not only promote seasonality but we support local farmers and suppliers whenever possible.

Our Event Manager will also meet with you in your home and look after all the other details that a 'Dream Dinner' party demands…details like a themed dinner party, beautiful flower arrangements designed to match your décor, your table dressed in the crispest of linen, place cards in handwritten calligraphy held in elegant name holders…. lanterns in the garden, the little details are endless but rest assured we will ensure that everything is looked after.

We thrive on making sure everything is perfect and we have spent a considerable amount of time sourcing our suppliers. We offer John Rocha glassware, beautifully crafted tapered dinner candles, glass lanterns to light the pathway to your front door and we even think to provide scented candles for your bathroom and for the more romantic occasions we scatter fresh rose petals!!

We don’t name names. Full stop. But we have catered to some of the more discerning palettes in Ireland. Please see below a sample of some of the menus that we have served in the past.

Sample Dream Dinner Menus

A Selection of delicious & decadent canapés are available to serve to your guests with Champagne or Prosecco on arrival. Please see our canapés menu.

The Beginning
• Crispy duck confit with braised endive & blood orange caramel,
• Seared Scallops with fennel cream & lobster tortellini,
• Tuna loin with pulped avocado & bell pepper relish,
• Classic Dublin Bay prawn cocktail,
• Wild garlic risotto with rpeas and parmesan,
• Beef Carpaccio with aged balsamic,

The Main Event
• Rack of Lamb with aubergine-roast pepper caviar & basil jus,
• Peppercorn crust of beef tenderloin, carrot puree, glazed shallots & tarragon jus,
• Monkfish osso bucco with lobster mashed potato & tomato confit,
• Wild Sea Bass with bouillabaisse garnish,
• Rack of venison with a bread & stilton galette & port wine jus,
• Millefeuille of Portobello Mushrooms & Lentils,
• Loin of veal with lemon risotto & spinach.

The Grand Finale
• Vanilla panacotta with red wine poached plums & cinnamon shortbread
• Chocolate fondant with crème fraiche & raspberries,
• Apple galette with vanilla ice-cream,
• Rhubarb & white chocolate tira-misu,
• Red wine & berry soup,
• Individual Persian rice puds,
• Wonderful artisan cheeseboard served with quince jelly, grapes, strawberries, fig tart, crackers & oatmeal biscuits.
• Teas, Coffees, Petit-fours, and after – dinner drinks are available.

A full & comprehensive wine list is available for you to peruse or our Sommelier would be happy to help you choose wines to partner with your menu.

Your 'Dream Dinner' is designed around you and your dream evening. Our executive chef and event manager will call to your home and discuss in great detail what you would like to serve to your guests and how you would like it presented.
They will take care of every little detail, you only have to confide in them.

Dream Dinners are priced for your consideration after discussion with The Butler's Pantry event team. No 'Dream Dinner' is too large or too small and we look forward to helping you create an evening to remember long after the event is forgotten.
