Artisan Harvest Table
Artisan Harvest at the Butler’s Pantry 2009 is the company’s fourth year showcasing artisan food producers from around the country. The Butler’s Pantry are having an Artisan Harvest in each of their nine shops from Thursday 17th – Saturday 19th September.

There are many great producers of natural and organic food in Ireland from cheese, meats, preserves and smoked products. You can meet some of The Butler’s Pantry artisan and organic suppliers over the weekend, including Anthony Creswell from Ummera Smokehouse, Elizabeth Ryan from Sheridan’s Cheesemongers and Pat Cremin from Drumeel Farm Muesli.  Artisan Harvest at The Butler’s Pantry also coincides with Bord Bia’s National Organic Week.

During Artisan Harvest, The Butler’s Pantry chefs will also be in the shops demonstrating and having tastings, giving customers and food lovers an opportunity to see and taste some of the delicious fare from each of the artisan food producers. These themed tastings will take place in each of The Butler’s Pantry shops over Artisan Harvest weekend.

Thursday 17th Sept: Artisan Preserves & Sauces
Crossogue Jam’s, Janet’s Country Fare & Saucey’s Dessert Curds.

Friday 18th Sept: Irish Artisan Dairy
Sheridan’s Cheesmongers, Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese & Glenilen Farm Products.

Saturday 19th: Irish Artisan Smokehouses

Recipes will also be available, each using ingredients from Artisan Harvest suppliers, so you can try them out yourself at home.

There are a growing number of innovative small food enterprises across the country. Despite the challenge to remain buoyant in the current environment, their passion for quality, home-produced food is uncompromised and is paralleled with that of The Butler’s Pantry. In acknowledgement of their effort and commitment, Artisan Harvest at The Butler’s Pantry is now an annual event.

The Butler’s Pantry is committed to premium quality natural food, made using only the freshest ingredients. We don’t always appreciate the selection of great food produced on our doorstep and Artisan Harvest is an opportunity for The Butler's Pantry to express their dedication to its customers and present some of the quality food producers in Ireland and suppliers to their business.

All Artisan products are sold in each of The Butler’s Pantry shops and Executive Chef Niall Hill, also uses these ingredients daily in many of his delicious recipes.
