The Butler’s Pantry food sponsor of the Dun Laoghaire Regatta 2007
The Butler’s Pantry, purveyors of quality, nutritious food, are taking to the water, as premium food sponsor of the Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta 2007 which takes place later this year (12th-14th July).
This is the second year The Butler’s Pantry have been involved with the Dun Laoghaire Regatta and as premier food sponsor, they will cater for all the competitors, volunteers and committee. This sponsorship has also led to the development of The Butler’s Pantry Food On Board, a new food category, specifically designed by Executive Chef Niall Hill, for sailors and boating spectators who also love good food!
Convenient, tasty and nutritious are among the criteria required by sailors and spectators alike when it comes to enjoying food at any sporting event. The Butlers Pantry Food on Board range will include a selection of delicious wraps, sandwiches and salads perfect for crew who need to keep focussed on board.
A selection of canapés and platters have been designed by Niall for parties to enjoy on the marina – Chilli chicken skewers, Seared tuna and spiced avocado pate, Stilton or smoked salmon tartlets, seafood or cold meat platters. A sophisticated alternative to a picnic but just as convenient!
Conscious of the limited facilities for cooking and storing on board The Butler’s Pantry will cook, chill, freeze and package any of their Food on Board meals for off-shore sailing. Where required, cooler bags are also available.
