Artisan Week 21st - 24th May 2008
A Celebration of Good Food
The Butlers Pantry Artisan Week 2008 is the company’s third year showcasing artisan food producers from around the country.
During The Butler’s Pantry Artisan Week (Wed 21st – Sun 24th May), each of their eight shops will have demonstrations and tastings, giving customers and food lovers an opportunity to see and to taste some of the delicious fare from each of the participating food producers. All Artisan products are sold in each of The Butler’s Pantry shops and Executive Chef Niall Hill, also uses these ingredients daily in many of his delicious recipes. Enjoy Niall's recipe for Duck Confit with Smoked Gubeen Chorizo & Haricot Beans
There are many great producers of natural and organic food in Ireland from cheese, meat and fish, jams, juices and sauces. Some of these producers being showcased during The Butler’s Pantry Artisan Week are:
McGeough’s Artisan Butcher (Connemara Fine Foods)
Janet’s Country Fare
Gubbeen Smokehouse
Sheridan’s Cheesemongers
Saucey’s Curds & Dessert Sauces
Crossogue Jams
Ummera Smokehouse
Tipperary Organic Ice Cream
Glenilen Farm
The Butler’s Pantry is committed to premium quality natural food, made using only the freshest ingredients. We don’t always appreciate the selection of great food produced on our doorstep and Artisan Week is an opportunity for The Butlers Pantry to express their dedication to its customers and present some of the quality food producers in Ireland and suppliers to their business.
Check out the daily daily time-table for tastings and chef demonstrations in each individual store.
