Langhe, Piedmonte – Nebbiolo – Alcohol 14% – No Herbicides – Oak
Guidobono produce textbook interpretations of the local Langhe grape varieties arneis, barbera and nebbiolo. The fertile, sandy Roero valley allows the grapes to develop generous, perfumed fruit profiles, while pockets of marine deposits contribute satisfying depth and structure. Roero may lack fame compared to the neighbouring Barolo and Barbaresco zones, but it is certainly not lacking in quality. The result is youthful, expressive wines that offer a jumping-off point into the diversity of Piemonte.
Generous plum and wild strawberry notes underlined by hints of rose and mint. An approachable style of nebbiolo with supple, smooth tannins and plenty of elegance.
Less fatty meats like ribeye beef, pork dishes.
