Bread Baking at The Butler’s Pantry
Celebrating the baking traditions of bread-making.
At the Butler’s Pantry we are committed to the art of bread-making, from careful selection of our flours to refinement of baking processes. Each loaf is hand crafted using the simplest of ingredients and doesn’t contain improvers, processing aids or any other nasty chemicals. Using extended proving times, this is real bread – the superior tasting alternative that is both wholesome and nutritious.
Bakery Menu
White Sourdough
A healthy and nutritious bread with a distinctive sour flavour. Ideal toasted with some real butter and marmalade.
INGREDIENTS: Starter dough, 90% organic flour, 10% malted wheat, salt and water. (Gluten)
Brown Sourdough
A customer favourite, this delicious bread has a unique and wholesome taste. Try it toasted with avocado and eggs.
INGREDIENTS: Starter dough, 40% organic flour, 60% malted wheat, salt and water. (Gluten)
Seeded Sourdough
A staff favourite, a softer sourdough with the added crunchy flavour of five varieties of roasted seeds. Perfect with soups and for sandwiches.

Baguettes
Crunchy crust with a soft interior, the Classic French Baguette. Hand-baked with organic French flour available in traditional or seeded, best paired with our pâté, chutneys and cheeses.
INGREDIENTS: Organic flour, yeast, salt and water. Seeded baguette is made using the same ingredients with five varieties of roasted seeds. (Gluten)
Pain de Campagne
“French Country Bread”, sourdough with a touch of rye giving it a special depth in flavour. Delicious for dipping in olive oil or mopping up sauces.
INGREDIENTS: Starter dough, 80% “Campagne d’Arthur” organic flour, 20% rye flour, salt and water. (Gluten)
White Batch
Our soft and fluffy white batch bread. Perfect for sandwiches or delicious simply with lots of real butter and our strawberry jam.
INGREDIENTS: 90% Organic flour, 10% malted wheat, yeast, salt and water. (Gluten)
Healthy Brown Seeded Bread
A distinctly healthy bread made with a variety of seeds adding a delicious crunchy taste. Ideal for breakfast spread with your favourite honey or jam.
INGREDIENTS: Buttermilk, wholemeal wheat flour, wheat flour, bread soda, brown sugar, eggs, salt and a seed mix. (Gluten, Dairy, Eggs)
Wholemeal Brown Bread
A nourishing wholemeal bread with a dense rich flavour. Lightly toasted with a spread of butter – delicious when dipped in soup.
INGREDIENTS: Buttermilk, wholemeal wheat flour, wheat flour, bread soda, brown sugar, eggs, salt and a seed mix. (Gluten, Dairy, Eggs)
Guinness Wholemeal Brown Bread
A hearty brown bread made with a variety of natural ingredients and distinctive rich Guinness flavour. Delicious served with smoked salmon and our cucumber pickle.
INGREDIENTS: Wholemeal spelt flour, black treacle, Guinness, buttermilk, flour, vegetable oil, golden syrup, bread soda and salt. (Gluten, Dairy, Sulphites)
